This full day lecture and intensive hands on workshop will focus on procedures which increases the thickness of soft tissue and the width of keratinized gingival around dental implants.
A fresh upper pig jaw model will be used for the training of the following techniques:
Harvesting of strip gingival grafts, subepithelial Connective tissue grafts and Tuberosity soft tissue grafts.
Buccal and apical repositioned flap with and without gingival grafts to enhance the width of keratinized gingiva
Connective tissue placement for increasing thickness with a flap vs a tunneling procedure with the use of growth factors.
An immediate extraction site implant placement with simultaneous GBR and connective tissue

The different soft tissue harvesting procedures
To increase the width of keratinized gingiva
To increase the thickness of soft tissue
