“Polarframe” cross-polarising filter for twin flash cameras
“Polarframe” cross-polarising filter for twin flash cameras
“Polarframe” by dens natura/Master Dental Technician Szabi Hant
An easy to use, cross-polarising filter for dental and other photography subject matter.
A common problem with separate filters on the lens and the flashes is that any small inaccuracy in the filter orientations can cause undesired reflections on the tooth surface. "Polarframe" filter eliminates the specular reflection of non-metallic surfaces.
Watch the quick tutorial video for step-by-step instructions.
This compact filter is designed to work with twin flashes on brackets only, such as the Agno’s Scorpion, Photomed R2, Indusbello flash bracket etc.
It does not work with ring flashes. In that case, we highly recommend the polar_eyes cross-polarisation filter from www.photomed.net.
Benefits:
- Since the filter removes the reflection, the tooth’s shade and inner structure becomes much clearer and easier to analyse.
- No more unwanted reflections and hence the communication is more straightforward between the lab and the clinic.
Components:
- Polarframe filter - 186x84mm
- Adapter ring - 82mm
- Storage box - 200x145mm
