Taronga Zoo

If you are coming from south of the bridge, take a ferry to the zoo for spectacular Sydney Harbour views and quick access.

Opera House & Botanical Gardens

Botanical Gardens & Opera House is an easy walk to enjoy anytime during the day. There are various cafes and restaurants throughout the area, which make this an ideal spot if you prefer to sit back and relax after a stroll.

Harbour Bridge & Barangaroo

You can choose to climb the Harbour Bridge (advance booking required) or just walk across it anytime. The nearby Barangaroo Reserve is also worth a visit, you can take in great views along Wulugul (local indigenous word for kingfish) Walk as well as visit its southern precint which has a great range of dining options.

Bondi – Coogee Walk

A 6 kilometre stretch of coastline, this walk offers some of the most breathtaking views of Sydney. If you haven’t got time to do the entire walk, many visitors choose a shorter stroll between Bondi and Bronte. Either way, stop by in Bondi Icebergs for its iconic ocean pool.

Spit – Manly Walk

The north shore's answer to the Bondi to Coogee walk. The walkway is divided into smaller sections with a few steep climbs, but it’s worth it for the amazing harbour view. At the end of your walk, enjoy a well-deserved drink or meal at one of the restaurants overlooking the water on Manly Wharf. You can also take the Manly Ferry to/from Circular Quay for the magnificent views without all the hard work!

Eveleigh Market

Eveleigh Market, or Carriageworks Market, offers a wide range of local produce as well as gourmet food stalls. Opens most Saturdays from 8am to 1pm, it’s an ideal place for breakfast and to start the day.

Cockatoo Island

Cockatoo Island is a UNESCO world-heritage-listed island in the middle of beautiful Sydney Harbour. Hop on a ferry and explore the island for the day or stay overnight in the campground or holiday houses.
